Chapter 83 His Anger
- Damian's eyes burned with fury as he took a step toward Lina, his hands balled into tight fists at his sides. His heart was pounding in his chest, his thoughts spinning. He had known something was wrong, but hearing Lina's words made the air feel thick, suffocating. His body moved on instinct, and before Lina could take another breath, Damian grabbed her by the neck, lifting her off the ground and slamming her against the wall.
- Her breath hitched, her eyes wide with shock, but she didn't struggle as much as he expected. Maybe she was too surprised to react, or maybe she was finally realizing just how dangerous this situation had become.
- Damian leaned in close, his face inches from hers, his voice low and dangerous. “If anything happens to Aurora, Lina,” he growled, tightening his grip around her neck, “I swear to God, I will make you regret it.”
