Chapter 69 Lina's Plotting
- Lina stormed into her guest room, slamming the door behind her with enough force to make the walls tremble. She threw her robe onto the floor, muttering angrily under her breath as she walked toward the bed. The luxurious room, with its golden curtains and soft, velvet bedding, was supposed to feel like a place of comfort, but Lina couldn’t shake the fury boiling inside her.
- She sat on the edge of the bed, her mind racing. She clenched her fists, her perfectly manicured nails digging into her palms. “That girl,” she hissed, her voice laced with venom. “That stupid, arrogant girl!”
- Lina couldn’t believe what had happened earlier. Aurora, a mere maid no, not even that anymore had dared to slap her not once but twice. Twice! And in front of everyone. The maids, Damian, everyone had seen it. And to make it worse, Damian hadn’t even defended her. He had laughed. Laughed!
