Chapter 7 Role Assignment

• Miss Catherine's expression remained unchanged, her eyes narrowing slightly as she approached Aurora. "Your mother sold you," she said, her voice without no emotion. "You have no say in what happens to you now."
• Aurora felt anger boiling inside of her , her fear was forgotten. "My mother didn't sell me," she said. "She abandoned me!"and you have no right to remind me of that ma'am.
• Miss Catherine's eyes went cold, her hand landing on Aurora's cheek with a sharp slap. "Your mother did what she had to," she hissed. "Now, you will do what you're told, or you will wish you were never born."
