• She layed in her bathtube, shedding tears, it had all come down to nothing, she had been stupid and she couldn't even understand what really got into her, how could she have done that to Amelia, it was like there had been a fold, blinding her and now it had been taken off and she had to face the reality of her actions. At the end she had gained nothing, she never knew Amelia had just recovered from a coma, she never knew her friend had been struggling every single day of her life, Amelia had tried explaining it to her but she had turned a deaf ear and now it all settled in, she felt like a hypocrite, the deed had been done, Amelia had lost Xavier, she had gotten nothing but a broken relationship and more guilt to carry, it was too much.
• A few years ago she was the Mel who had everything she could ever ask for, she was the Mel who lacked nothing, the girl everyone was after, the most popular girl at school, she was everything, she was living the life of her dreams and now here she was, nothing, she felt empty and Irrelevant to life. She cursed her father for never being around, for always leaving her to go through life alone, once she thought it was freedom but now she knew that it was lonliness, she had gone sorting out for a kind of male figure she never had in her life and so she had found Jacob, he seemed to be everything she wanted and more so she fell like a fool, she grew obsessed because he was always available, unlike her father.
