Chapter 67

  • (AMELIA's POV)
  • It's like memories flashing past her eyes, in the void of emptiness, it's all she could hold on to, those few good memories she never knew she still had, memories of two good friend, it had been her and Mel against the world, they loved each other and she couldn't help but wonder what changed, how two best friends could become closer to worst enemies. She missed those days, those days when she was allowed to wear her regular clothes and visit Granny Fashion, the days she was surrounded by friends, good friend, those days she would laugh with Mel and Luke she could be her real self, not trying to hide her own past. Still yet she had no regrets for the decision she had made, even if it had been a tough road, she would do just anything to have him to herself, Shawn also had been more than a brother to her and Blake had kept her company a few times, he had actually spoken to her once in the hospital and it was so sad that when he finally did speak, she could give no response and tears dropped down her eyes at the thought that she might never be seeing him again, that she had lost him and then she felt the heat, so strong, she wouldn't lose him, again and again she tried to make even the tiniest move, she wanted to see him again, finally she felt her hands, she tried moving it but it seemed to be stuck at that position, if she could just lift those damn hands, again the darkness was around her , drawing her back in, but this time she wouldn't let it, it was like figting against one's self, but this time she was sure she would escape, and finally her eyes snapped open and she blinked, trying to settle in with the bright light, she closed her eyes again, opening it and finally her eyes adjusted to the light. Damn did it feel good to be back.
  • But she knew this was her chance, this was he chance to tell him the truth, she was tried of the fake life, she was tired of living someone else's life, this all felt like some wake up call to her, if she had never woken up, he would have never heard the truth from her, he might have never known who really he was married to and if he did find out then he would hate her in her own grave, she wouldn't let that happen, so she made up her mind, she was going to do this and nothing would stop her, he deserved the truth, he deserved better, she deserved better.
