• Alder's POV
• I wanted to go and see Cindy. That's what she wanted me to call her, so I think I will do that. I miss her so much even though she had just left the palace. Three days. She will only be away for three fu****g days and yet I am feeling this way. She told me she loved me too, so she'll return, right? I had never felt this scared before. In my hundred and eighty-seven years, I have never been scared or feared by anything. However, she is different. I think she is all I have, even though I know I have everything else in my life.
• When I noticed that Vlad was not on the training ground, I got paranoid. I looked for him and someone saw him heading toward the palace. I rushed there and sighed in relief at seeing my beautiful mate in our bedroom. She assured me that I was her only mate and felt happy about it. Though I still have a bit of anxiety and worry that she may leave, that's why I always wanted to go wherever she might go.
