• "Clover," Vlad said when they met on the porch. It looked like he was excited, but she was annoyed. As much as possible, she didn't want to see him and didn't understand why Jessie had to give his title back to him. She certainly saw how strong he was, but that's all there was to him. Nothing was particularly remarkable about him, and it would be prudent if he kept his hands off the pack.
