• Cindy's POV
• Alder and mine's life has never been this good. Masha was trying to hold my frustrations and I got adopted in the palace sooner than I expected. I could easily tell everyone that he is my mate and that he's mine alone. Even if I didn't mark him yet, I could feel our bond getting stronger. Maybe it was because I was starting to accept him.
• The past weeks have been very tiring. From the alpha meeting until it ended and a follow-up reminder to everyone in the palace about the coming of the wolves for training. As always, I spent some of my time in the library trying to learn more about their kind. I mean, our kind, since I was already one of them. I got to know more about my mate and I was happy and somewhat worried that we are immortal, but once one of us dies, the other will be affected and might die too. It was what had happened to Alder's father after his mom died. It appears that the intensity of their feelings will bond them together even in the afterlife.
