• Alder's POV
• It was them, Cindy's ex-boyfriend and best friend. I felt her anger and I knew that she wanted to kill them both. I tried not to get mad at her because I knew that she was not in the mood after she saw the reason for our stay here, in L.A. My mate is really feisty and she looks beautiful when she's mad.
• I didn't really know what I needed to do just for her to accept me, even though I already knew that she would make everything hard for me. The presence of the waitress at our table made Cindy really happy. When I looked at Charles, I tried not to laugh at him. He looks stupid staring at his mate. Now, we both have problems with our mate. He was human and knew nothing about our kind and mine. Well, she's human and a werewolf but was betrayed.
