• “So what are we going to do?” I flinched my head, throwing a strand of hair back. I looked at him with so much hope, I wanted him to follow my plan of revenge against my dad. Exact moment as I was thinking of this, mom called again.
• This time when I picked it up, there were tears. I couldn't really see it but I got to sense it from her voice. I balled my fist, angry at dad for abandoning me but at the same time this paved the way for him to get punished for all the crimes he had been secretly committing.
