Emily's POV
I pouted my lips, I descended to pacing around the room. I didn't want to reveal this secret but he was forcing me to do it. Why, because I didn't want him to feel like I didn't love him and even think that I despise him for cheating on me. I pulled my hands behind my back, walking slowly as though I was assessing something. Immediately, I turned back to check on his facial expression. His eyes were dull, for the first time he stood up after me. I saw him walking closer to me. When he was a step closer, I wanted to ask what he was up to, but to my awe, he got down on his knees. My eyes blinked a million times in shock, I shifted a little bit, merely because I wanted to see what he was up to.
He hasn't done any wrong recently, what then is he on his knees to apologize for? Or is it a plea?
