• Emily's POV
• He was about to walk away when I immediately grabbed his hand and he turned around, brows furrowed. I clapped my hands together.
• “Please can you escort me up there, I feel a little unwell and besides I'm scared of being alone in an elevator.” My statement was partly true and partly lies. The reason I wanted him was because of fear, I was afraid Calvin would hurt me. Even though he never had this in mind, these words must have triggered intense anger that he left me in the room in silence and a deadly glare. How could I go up there alone?
