Chapter 7 Complete Transformation
- Joyce Albert had contemplated the matter for an extended period, and ultimately she made the decision to relinquish.
- What relevance does Wilson Zoha have to him?
- He merely needed to take care of himself, and there was still a lengthy and arduous path of "retribution" awaiting him.
- With this in mind, Joyce let out a sigh. She had also requested Aaron to come to the house this afternoon, and now she must return quickly. Otherwise, Aaron would discover that she had snuck out of the house secretly, and he would undoubtedly reprimand her severely. She was unsure if Aaron would still care about him.
- As she thought about Aaron's sullen expression when he was angry, Joyce couldn't help but feel anxious.
- In order to save a few dollars, she no longer took the subway and opted for a taxi instead.
- In truth, she didn't have much money either. On the day of her wedding to Wilson, Wilson had given her an unlimited black card, stating that although she was only his wife on paper, since Joyce was married to him, he had to take responsibility for all her expenses. Initially, Joyce had declined this offer out of principle. She had no habit of accepting others' money, and it made her uncomfortable. However, Wilson insisted repeatedly, eventually convincing her to accept it. Nevertheless, she always kept the black card in the drawer of her bedside table, intending to return it to him on the day they finalized their agreement.
- Joyce sat in the taxi, Wilson cellphone still in her pocket. At that moment, the phone buzzed with two text messages. She hesitated for a moment but ultimately decided against looking at the contents of the messages.
- By the time she arrived home, it was nearly noon, and her stomach was growling with hunger. Although she was skilled in cooking, she prepared a simple meal for herself.
- Around two o'clock in the afternoon, Aaron arrived.
- Aaron gestured for Joyce sit on the sofa and carefully removed the mask from her face.
- Noticing a furrow forming between the man's brows, Joyce nervously swallowed and a multitude of negative thoughts raced through her mind.
- "Aaron, is my face still dreadful?"
- Aaron remained silent, his eyebrows furrowed.
- "Please, tell me quickly, great god. Throughout this time, you prohibited me from looking in the mirror. Now, I truly wish to see what I look like."
- Aaron still didn't speak.
- Joyce felt tears welling up, closed her eyes, and pleaded, "My god, tell me the truth. I can handle it, regardless!"
- "You can see for yourself," Aaron finally spoke, producing a round mirror for the woman.
- Joyce found it hard to believe that Aaron had finally allowed her to look in the mirror!
- With a heart filled with nervousness, she slowly opened her eyes and caught sight of her reflection in the mirror.
- Similar, yet dissimilar.
- The woman in the mirror appeared fresh and beautiful, boasting fair skin and delicate features. Her eyes, in particular, were clear and radiant, exuding a goddess-like aura that provided a sense of comfort.
- Upon seeing herself, Joyce turned to Aaron beside her and asked, "Is this really me?"
- Aaron nodded. "You are indeed beautiful. However, your appearance was previously marred by your own actions. A woman's complexion greatly influences her overall demeanor."
- Joyce found it difficult to believe and continued scrutinizing her reflection from different angles. In recent years, while she was with Dicky Johnson, under Alicia Ben's guidance, she had become incredibly insecure. She often dared not remove her makeup and frequently slept with it on, resulting in deteriorating skin. Coupled with her poor fashion choices, she felt even more dreadful.
- "Great god, you truly are my idol. You have undeniably transformed my appearance into something beautiful. Why did you wear a gloomy expression earlier?"
- "Didn't you notice?" Aaron said unhappily, pointing to two small pimples on her face. "You still have two pimples on your face."
- Joyce sighed. Aaron's thinking was too perfectionistic. She was content with her current appearance, flawed as it may be. Previously, she had become obsessed with Alicia words to the point of neglecting her makeup routine.
- "Great god, will I no longer need to wear a mask in the future? Will I be able to go out in public normally?"
- "Yes," Aaron nodded. He then retrieved some commonly used tools from his cosmetics box and made slight adjustments to Joyce appearance. "However, you cannot go out like this. I will design some makeup looks for you. Once you learn them, you can do your own makeup in the future."
- Joyce eagerly nodded.
- "Furthermore, I have brought several fashion magazines for you. I have labeled clothing styles that suit you. In the future, you can simply purchase clothes according to those styles. Today, I have also brought you two outfits. Try them on first."
- "Great god, I truly adore you. You are like my reborn parents!" Joyce was so moved that she nearly burst into tears. Although Aaron appeared strict and aloof, he was genuinely enthusiastic. During this time, Joyce found herself growing fonder of him.
- Aaron glanced at the woman before him, his expression blank. However, inwardly, he felt a sense of comfort. He rarely encountered someone as genuine and kind-hearted as Joyce, as he often interacted with celebrities.
- "Alright, quickly change into the clothes. I will assess what else needs to be adjusted, and then we can proceed with your makeup," Aaron insisted.
- Joyce respectfully placed her right hand on her forehead and hurriedly made her way to the room.
- Ten minutes later, she emerged from the room wearing the latest off-shoulder shirt and short skirt.
- The shirt had a slightly oversized neck collar and an off-shoulder design, exposing Joyce fair skin and round shoulders. The skirt, on the other hand, was relatively short, showcasing her long and slender legs. It could be described as a tasteful display of beauty.
- At that moment, Joyce face turned slightly red. She had never worn such revealing clothing before. The shortest pants she typically wore were capris, and her wardrobe primarily consisted of baggy t-shirts and sweaters. The most revealing outfit she had ever worn was probably a wedding dress, but even that did not expose her thighs.
- "Come here and let me have a look," Aaron said upon seeing Joyce standing still without moving.
- Joyce cautiously approached Aaron, holding onto her skirt and attempting to pull it down. Perhaps if she pulled it down enough, it would lengthen.
- "Great god, do these clothes truly suit me?" She asked with uncertainty as she walked towards Aaron. "Isn't this too much?"
- "They are very suitable, as long as you refrain from constantly pulling up your skirt." Aaron instinctively swatted Joyce hand, which was clutching her skirt, and adjusted it for her. In that moment, her white thighs were exposed, a sight that was slightly more captivating.
- Joyce blushed, and her reflexive action was to pull her skirt again. However, she was immediately halted by Aaron's cold gaze.
- "Great god, do you have longer skirts?"
- Aaron disregarded her despondent remark and led her to sit on the sofa.
- "Sit down. I will design your makeup now."
