Chapter 31 A Token

• The Pearsons are still going back and forth when they suddenly recall that they haven't heard a single word from the riffraff as they call him all this while. They turn to where Juliet wheeled him and there he is having a huge smirk on his face. They had thought he left already because they were bent on forcing Juliet to push him away.
• "Missed me, Avery?" Lucien asks and smiles up at her. "Don't worry I'm here to stay."
• She scowls at him and clenches her fist. "Take this thing out of here, Juliet! Now!"
