Chapter 16 Never Forgive Myself

• Mr. Santiago and Mrs. Avery are sitting in their room making a toast and giggling like teens when they suddenly hear a piercing scream.
• Mrs. Avery freezes. "That sounded like Juliet!" She informs her husband in a panic. The next second, she drops her glass of wine, stands up swiftly, and dashes out of the room while breathing heavily.
• Mr. Santiago stands up as well, almost toppling over the small table as he follows his wife out.
