- Lucien freezes and swallows a lump of spittle as he hears what Juliet just said. For the very first time, he finds himself lost for words as he stands there, staring at Juliet who coldly stares back at him.
- Juliet thinks Lucien doesn't take her seriously so she raises the knife about to slit her wrist.
- "Juliet!" Lucien screams, raising his hands above his head in surrender but still doesn't leave.
