Chapter 52

• Everyone freezes. Vienna trembles, a strange heat rising in her chest as fear grips her.
• “Why are you all so surprised to see me?” the woman sneers—it’s Benita. “Did you really think you got rid of me? That I couldn’t come back? You’re wrong. I’ll kill you. I won’t spare you!”
• She screams and raises the gun to fire—but just before she can pull the trigger, Karen leaps forward and stabs her. The gun fires off in another direction, and everyone screams, expecting to see Vienna fall.
