• “May I remind you that you’re still not dressed, and your towel is barely hanging on?” Alan said again. Vienna gasped and quickly dashed off to change, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
• Alan let out a small chuckle and entered the bathroom to take his shower. Opting for the shower instead of a bath, he stood under the water, letting it cascade over him as his thoughts drifted back to everything that had happened over the past three days.
• After leaving with Joel that day, they had gone straight to Kellie. Together, the three of them traveled to the location where Sanchez and Vienna’s father were being held. Once there, they presented all the evidence they’d gathered and conducted several hours of interrogation. Eventually, both men confessed.
