• Her eyes snapped open and she blinked multiple times to decipher the strange feel of the place where she lay.
• This wasn't her bed, neither was it her room as she could tell through the fine curtain she was staring at.
• She tried moving her legs to sit up, but pain shot through them, making a painful moan escape her lips. Turning her head to take in her environment, she found herself face to face with Thane, who was peacefully fast asleep.
