Chapter 18 Seventeen

• The sound of Tessa’s heels echoed through the room as she and Thane walked down the grand staircase; their arms linked.
• She'd had the entire staff assemble beneath the stairs and form a pathway which led to the door. Earlier, Lena had heard her whisper to Thane that she wanted to practice walking down the aisle.
• The staff had their eyes on their feet as the couple passed by, and Lena just had to be on the side where Thane walked. He passed by her and the scent of his cologne sent shivers down her aching spine, making her legs tremble.
