Chapter 24 Twenty Three

• "You've never been here before?" Lena asked as she and Alex walked down the dimly lit hallway leading to Thane’s bedroom.
• “I never said that,” Alex replied, glancing around with wide eyes, captivated by the gloom. “I’ve been here once or twice to run errands, but every time, I wonder why he loves this much darkness.” She squinted, trying to see where the hallway ended.
• Lena took out a single key and unlocked the door ahead of them. “I think it's kind of nice, though.” She said, "It gives a sense of privacy. Cozy, even.”
