Chapter 6

• Amelia’s POV
• I arrived in my room and threw myself on the bed. I closed my eyes and immediately Daniel's face appeared in my mind. Why did everything have to be so difficult? After a few minutes of internal debate, I picked up my phone. I had three missed calls from my father. I imagined he wanted to know how I was doing. It wasn't very common for him to give me permission to go out with my friends. He was an overprotective father. I sighed.
• Then I saw an email from the university where I wanted to study. They had sent me their academic curriculum. My father was a great investor and had worked hard to get to where he was. I liked administration and numbers, which is why I was determined to study International Business. University registrations would start in a couple of weeks, after the summer, so I had some time to have fun.
