• Amelia’s POV
• The next day Daniel arrived, my father greeted him formally, but their faces reflected calmness and not anger. They entered my father's office and stayed there for a long time. I was nervous, to tell the truth. Then the door opened and they both came out, this time with a smile like in the old times. My father told me that I could go with Daniel whenever I wanted, but he would like to spend a few days as father and daughter before taking that step of adulthood and commitment. Daniel agreed with the idea of living together, it was something we both wanted, so we could have more time to get to know each other intimately. My father asked me if I wanted to continue studying, I said yes, that I loved my career, he seemed relieved. He informed me that he would continue to pay for my studies, as my mother had left me a university fund, that had been her will and it must be fulfilled.
