• “So baby’s heartbeat, nice and strong,” I watch as they both smile. “Baby two’s heartbeat also strong.” I laugh, partly shock, partly because that is crazy but mostly because Marcello and Adrian look like they are about to throw up or freak out. Maybe both? I smile, I may be tired, but I will so taunt them.
• “Doctor said quads. Are you sure two more aren't hiding?” I watch as she laughs, them both staring at me.
