Chapter 40

• “Right guided tour, for you both as he hasn't been here either.” I look at Adrian confused. “It is a house I hardly ever used; I used it with my brats but not in years.” He walks through, pointing out the rooms; I watch as they both turn to walk back down, my hand pushing a door open.
• He didn't mention this room. I walk in, my eyes widening. “Not a chance, you want to play in a room like this fine, but tomorrow night, after everything, we could all do with a night without drama.” I pout slightly at Adrian as Marcello laughs.
• “You should be worn out, mentally and physically. Do you just suck the energy out of everyone else?” I laugh nodding.
