• I sit alone, unable to work out what they are saying. Marcello begins shouting - this is all my fault, which just proves I should leave. I turn, hearing the door banging. “You honestly think I would do that?” He stands looking at me hurt. “You don't know me at all, do you? What the hell, Daniella? The police say they are dead and just jump straight at me! When have I ever done anything to make you think I would kill someone?” He stands shouting at me.
• “You stormed out, saying you would sort it. You didn't come back to the hospital. You are a mess and drinking a lot! Right now, you're shouting at me, so can you blame me? You disappear and say you will sort it don't come back for days, then they show up dead!” I shout back at him, standing up, a scream escaping my mouth as I fall back down. Damn fucking stomach.
• “Well, I didn't, so you can fuck off now. You're safe. They are both dead either way; I don't lose everything for trying to save you either.” He turns and walks off, my head falling.
