Chapter 55 It Was What He Needed

• Laughter from the kitchen greets Ragnar as he arrives at the mansion. He walks over there and watches Katrina interact with her mother and sister from the doorway. He can't deny that she seems calmer and more relaxed since they arrived here. His mother is also much more smiley than usual, and that somehow pleases him.
• Without any of them noticing that he has arrived, he turns around and goes up to his room, takes off his clothes, and goes straight into the shower. Cold water always manages to relax him, so he stays there for some time with his eyes closed until his bathroom door is opened abruptly, startling him.
• "Damn!" the alpha exclaims, grabbing one of the towels within reach to cover his naked body. Katrina immediately turns around, embarrassed and blushing, as she covers her face with both hands and curses for not hearing that the shower was running. A burning sensation rises from the tips of her toes to her face, making her unbearably warm. She had seen him in his underwear the night before, but seeing him completely naked, even if it's only his back, was unexpected. That huge and muscular body makes her feel very hot.
