Chapter 34 It's Done

• A desperate video call from Lizzie alerts Mauricio. He abruptly gets out of bed and starts pacing around his room with the phone in his hand, dazed, sleepy, and somewhat scared.
• "I don't know where Katrina is, dad," she cries desperately as she tries to explain to her father what happened. "I've looked for her all over the forest, the omega who accompanied us did too, but we haven't found her. I'm afraid something bad happened to her."
• Mauricio remains silent, unsure of how to respond. Lizzie continues to cry.
