Chapter 50 The Moon Always Has The Right Answer
- More than a week has passed since Ragnar heard about the young woman who arrived injured at the Moreira clinic. Since then, he has instructed Ramiro to find out everything about her and any connection she may have with Jarl Fenrisson and Katrina. He has not yet received his report, but his friend told him that as soon as he returned to Tierra de Pinares, he would give him everything he has managed to find out so far.
- Ragnar's last chemotherapy session was yesterday. Frankly, he does not feel like it has really worked, on the contrary, every day he feels weaker and the pain has become more intense and constant in his day-to-day life. According to his doctor, this is only the first part, as in three months he must return for another session, and so on for a whole year, until the cancer completely subsides.
- Ragnar laughs at that possibility. Of course, he is not going to come back here for another one of those sessions. This is a waste of time that he does not plan on repeating. He is not a fool, he knows that his disease is already advanced and that it is practically impossible to heal, unless the moon goddess takes pity on him and an unexpected miracle happens. All these efforts are not worth it, he has already resigned himself, but making his mother and sister understand that is almost as impossible as that miracle happening.
