• When the elderly ladies heard footsteps approaching, they stopped chatting and drinking. They tried to behave as casually as possible when they spotted Sherry walking towards their seating area with Madam Jasmine, even though they had been staring at her since she entered the dinner hall, acting surprised when she took a seat next to them.
• “Hello, ladies,” Sherry greeted everyone with a polite smile as she took one of the available seats. Madam Jasmine sat beside her and gestured to a waiter to bring over a drink for the new guest. By the time the waiter returned with the drinks, the group of ladies had finished introducing themselves.
• “Sorry, I don’t really drink,” Sherry quickly rejected the offer when a waiter approached her with a tray of wines. “I am not much of a drinker.” Her alcohol tolerance was notoriously low as she avoided drinking since she had to spend most of her time operating on patients.
