Chapter 118
- Sherry carried the tin casket back to her room. After sorting the items inside the casket, she realized except for the notebook, everything else in it was normal. She placed the notebook along with her important medical encyclopedias, while she pushed the tin casket under her bed.
- “I should head out,” Sherry mumbled, taking a deep breath. She had been absent from her position for quite a while now. When she was superficially going through the contents of the notebook, she received an important call from her hospital—Mr. Hopkins, to be precise. The board of directors wanted her back for a meeting to sort out everything that had happened in the past few days.
- After taking a quick shower, she hurriedly dressed up in jeans and a white T-shirt. Putting on a pair of white Converse, she went to the garage to get her car. In just half an hour, she was already inside the parking lot of her hospital.
