Chapter 6

  • I feel the blood leaving my body and Zac tenses up as he sees Amelia standing there watching the pornographic spectacle of us. I jump off Zac's legs and look apologetically at Amelia.
  • "Explain to me right now what this is, Tamara," she says seriously, but I don't know how to respond.
  • "Amelia, it was my fault, I..." Zac starts, but she silences him.
  • "Go, I want to talk to the girl alone, and you should also think about it. He's your best friend, and you're getting involved with something precious to him," she says, precious? I don't believe that.
  • "Goodbye, Tamara," Zac says as he leaves, and I sit with my gaze on the ground.
  • "Look at me, Tamara," she lifts my chin.
  • "What you're doing is not right. I know you're young, Zac is very handsome, but he's his best friend. They love each other like brothers. And if Gael finds out about this, he won't forgive you. Tell me, my girl, do you not feel anything for Gael?"
  • "I feel something, but it's hard to deal with him," I reply.
  • "Something, ma'am, but Gael mistreats me and bought me. I can't forgive him for that," I say.
  • "My girl, be thankful that it was Gael who bought you and not another man, because if it had been someone else, you would be very damaged or dead," she says.
  • "I know Gael has a strong character and sometimes finds it hard to express himself, but give yourself the chance to get to know him and let him show you his good side," she touches my cheek in a very maternal gesture and smiles at me. My God, she's right. Gael and I started off on the wrong foot, well, I would say terribly, but to be honest, he's the only person I have. My mother abandoned me without caring about anything. When I remember that, I feel my anger and pain grow, and Amelia notices.
  • "What's wrong, my girl?" she asks.
  • "I hate my life," I say, letting out a sob.
  • "My father abandoned me when I was just a baby, and since then, my mother became cold. I have never received any affection from her. Now I realize that she never loved me. And to top it off, besides not loving me, she also sold me for some green bills in a damn brothel," I sob louder, feeling Amelia's warm arms around me.
  • "I just want to die. I can't bear all of this. I'm still very young. I had so many dreams, and one by one, they fell apart. Now I don't even know what will become of my life," I say.
  • "Oh, dear, I know you will fulfill every dream you had. Sometimes, situations like the ones you went through make you a strong person. It's painful, but you will learn from it and become a better person in the future," she says, smiling at me. But I keep crying until I hear footsteps and Gael's voice.
  • "Is everything okay?" he asks, looking somewhat concerned.
  • "I'll leave you two alone, excuse me," Amelia says, leaving me feeling alone, so I cry even more.
  • "Hey, little one, what's wrong?" he touches my cheek, and now his touch doesn't seem disgusting to me anymore.
  • "I... I... hug me," I say, and without hesitation, he hugs me tightly and then places me in his lap as if I were a baby. I cry and let out all the crap I had accumulated, and he stays silent, waiting for me to calm down.
  • After 20 minutes of crying, I calm down and look into his eyes, which are beautiful, green with a hint of blue. When I look at him, I get lost in his gaze completely. God, what's wrong with me? I was kissing his friend, and now I want to kiss him.
  • This is wrong, Tamara, very wrong.
  • "Feeling better, little one?" he asks, and I nod, burying my head in his neck. I raise my hand and start caressing his chest, feeling his breath quicken.
  • "Don't do that, little one. You don't know what you're provoking in me," he says. I smile at his comment and then look at him.
  • "Gael, can I ask you something?" I start playing with a strand of hair, something I always do when I'm nervous.
  • "Why did you buy me?" I ask. He tenses up at my question, and I feel like it was a bad idea to ask until I see him relax.
  • "When I saw you come in with barely any clothes on and saw you trying to cover yourself, I knew you weren't there because you wanted to be. From that moment, a protective instinct was born in me, which is rare. I don't know what I feel for you, Tamara, but what I am sure of is that I want to take care of you and not allow anyone to harm you," he confesses, leaving me stunned.
  • "So, you... you... damn," I stutter.
  • "Watch your mouth," Gael scolds me.
  • "You don't want to sleep with me?" I feel my cheeks burning at that question.
  • "Yes, it's a mortal sin because you're too young for me, but I'm dying to feel your naked body pressed against mine again," shit, don't do that.
  • "To bury myself deep inside you and make you scream my name until you come," oh my god, I feel like my panties are already wet, how does this idiot manage to turn me on in just a few seconds.
  • "But Tamara, we'll only do it if you want to, I won't force you," that seems like a sweet gesture, in the heat of the moment I kiss him, and he gladly responds.
  • "Tamara, I want to get to know you more and get along with you. I know I didn't start off in the best way and acted like an idiot, but I want things to be good between us."
  • "That's why I want to invite you to dinner, just the two of us. Do you accept? " Of course, I accept, I want to get to know this man and discover his biggest secrets.
  • "I accept, Gael," he smiles, and I do too.
  • "I have to go, but I'll pick you up at 7 pm, okay?"
  • "Yes, that works for me."
  • "Well, goodbye, beautiful," he gives me a kiss and leaves me wanting more.
  • It's already 5:30 so I decide to take a shower and when I come out, I go to the super closet to choose what I want to wear. Hmm, oh, I know, the black dress is perfect for the occasion. I do my makeup, fix my hair, and finally put on the dress.
  • I feel someone knock on the door, I say come in, and when they open it, I see a perfectly dressed Gael.
  • "Wow, you look beautiful," he says as he kisses me.
  • "You don't look bad yourself, you look very handsome," he smiles and extends his hand for us to leave.
  • We arrive at a super luxurious restaurant; I had never been to a place like this before.
  • "Do you like it?" Gael asks.
  • "Yes, it's beautiful, I had never been to a place like this before."
  • "Well, get used to it because with me, you'll have it all," we sit at a table and start talking about common topics, asking each other about our likes and it seems we are quite different, but as they say, opposites attract.
  • When we are starting dessert, I see Gael smile and say,
  • "Zac, my friend, it's good to see you here,"
  • What is he doing here...
