Chapter 29
- I slowly open my eyes, trying to adjust to the light coming in through the window. When I look around, I realize I'm in Gael's room and I have a catheter attached to my arm. As I try to sit up, Gael enters the room and rushes towards me.
- "Tamara, thank God you woke up," he says, trying to touch me, but I pull away.
- "How are you feeling?"
