Chapter 7 Daddy, You Must Find The Brother

  • "Daddy, can we not let the brother leave? I haven't properly thanked him yet," Madison pleaded softly.
  • When Hudson turned around, he saw the boy walking out of the airport with a woman. The woman's profile flashed before disappearing at the doorway.
  • His eyes narrowed—it's that woman!
  • He quickly followed, and his expression became more somber. That woman bore a striking resemblance to the one who had saved him that night!
  • After speaking with the doctor, Raelyn turned to see Hudson hurrying towards the outside of the airport and curiously asked her daughter, "Where is your Daddy going?"
  • "The brother is leaving, but I don't want him to. I asked daddy to help me bring him back so I can thank him personally," Madison explained.
  • "You child, why would you have your daddy do such a thing?" Raelyn was displeased, given that there were so many bodyguards around that he didn't need to go personally.
  • But why does he seem so urgent?
  • Wynette had asked the driver to wait at the entrance, and she would return soon.
  • So, she and her son left the airport and got straight into the car.
  • Hudson arrived just as the car started and drove away, unable to get a second look at that woman.
  • But he was sure it was her!
  • "Daddy, did the brother still leave?" Madison had also come out.
  • "Yeah," Hudson replied.
  • Raelyn looked at the father and daughter, softly saying, "Just let it go. We are the Zieglers, is it hard for us to find someone? We'll thank him properly when we find him next time."
  • Hudson's gaze darkened slightly. Indeed, the Zieglers could find anyone they sought.
  • "Daddy, you must find the little brother," Madison tugged at her father's hand.
  • Hudson looked down at his daughter and lifted her up with one arm. "I will find him."
  • ...
  • After her return, Wynette rented a three-bedroom suite to live in.
  • At first, she didn't dare to return to home because of the wedding she fled four years ago, and now with her son here, she definitely couldn't let the Yancey Family know about her son's existence.
  • "This will be our home for now," Wynette told her son as they arrived at their new place.
  • "Mommy, when do we start looking for Daddy?" He was more anxious than she was.
  • "Let me find you a school first."
  • "You really don't know what Daddy looks like?" Ethan looked at her suspiciously.
  • Wynette shook her head. "I don't know."
  • "How can there be a woman like you, who doesn't even know who you slept with!" Ethan couldn't help but blurt out.
  • "I... I was framed!" Now more than ever, she was sure it was Hannah's conspiracy.
  • "We don't have any clues, how are we going to find daddy?" Ethan sighed.
  • "Who says we don't have any? I have his token," Wynette took out the dark jade ring from around her neck.
  • Ethan examined it. "There's no inscription, how do we know whose it is?" Relying on this broken thing to find daddy? Isn't that a bit unreliable?
  • Wynette didn't know why, but she felt that this object could lead her to the man from that night.
  • Two days later, Ms. Halt called her. "We have a student here who needs a home tutor, would you be willing to teach at their home?"
  • She was surprised, thinking Ms. Halt wouldn't hire her.
  • Anyway, she wouldn't refuse a job offer.
  • "I can go to their home."
  • "Great, I'll send you the student's home address later. There will be a trial period, and if they are satisfied with your teaching, they will keep you."
  • "Understood."
  • What she didn't know was that Ms. Halt had initially decided not to hire her, but they had a difficult student and thought they might as well give her a try.
  • Following the address given by Ms. Halt, Wynette arrived at the student's home for the piano lessons.
  • She stepped out of the car, and a majestic mansion told her this was no ordinary family, but rather something akin to a powerful clan.
  • As the heavy iron gate slowly opened, a middle-aged man in a black uniform came out. "Are you the piano teacher recommended by Ms. Halt?
