Chapter 6 Brother, Save Me…

  • Whether Hudson heard Raelyn's plea was uncertain as he sternly told the criminal, "Release my daughter now, and I might spare your life."
  • "Hudson! You're nothing but a devilish bastard! You've ruined me! I want your daughter to die with me!" The criminal's face twisted hideously as he drew a bloody line across the delicate neck of the little girl with his knife.
  • Raelyn was terrified, crying uncontrollably. "Please don't hurt my daughter. We can give you whatever amount of money you want..."
  • "I told you, I don't want money. I want her life!" The criminal's emotions were spiraling out of control.
  • Hudson's handsome face was taut with tension, and he signaled to Victor to be ready to intervene at any moment.
  • After calling his mommy, Ethan suddenly needed to use the restroom urgently and ran towards the restroom according to the signs.
  • He was so desperate that he didn't care why there was a crowd around the restroom and just pushed through into the inside.
  • Just as the criminal was about to harm Madison Ziegler, a little boy suddenly slipped in, stopping his vicious act.
  • However, the criminal used Madison to block the restroom door, and Ethan couldn't get in right away.
  • "Whose kid are you? Get out of here, it's dangerous," Victor warned.
  • "I really need to pee; I have to go in," Ethan said, clutching his crotch, looking genuinely urgent.
  • Hudson frowned and looked at the boy who had suddenly appeared, feeling inexplicably that this child looked familiar.
  • Still, he said coldly, "Victor, why aren't you taking the bystanders away?" Nothing should interfere with his mission to save his daughter.
  • But then the boy ran up to the criminal and said, "Sir, I really need to pee. Please let me through, or I'll be in trouble."
  • "Where did this brat come from? Scram!" the criminal shouted fiercely.
  • Madison's tears that had been welling up in her eyes now fell as she pitifully looked at the boy, pleading, "Brother, save me..."
  • The criminal scoffed. "Even your own dad can't save you, let alone this little brat!"
  • Ethan looked around. "Aren't you guys filming?"
  • "Who told you we're filming? If you don't want to die, get out of here now!" The criminal was growing impatient.
  • "Alright, alright... I'm going, just don't hurt me," Ethan feigned fear.
  • As he turned around, he pulled something from his bag and, taking advantage of the criminal's distraction, threw it!
  • With a pop, smoke enveloped the area around the criminal.
  • "Cough, cough..." the criminal started coughing and involuntarily let go of Madison.
  • "Run!" Ethan grabbed Madison's hand, and they fled.
  • The criminal, realizing what happened, bellowed in anger, "You little brat, come back here!"
  • But Victor and his men had already closed in and subdued the criminal, who couldn't believe he had let Madison be rescued, swearing and resisting furiously.
  • Raelyn wiped her tears and immediately rushed to embrace her daughter. "I was so scared, Maddy. Are you okay?"
  • Madison didn't speak, obviously traumatized.
  • Hudson knitted his brows. "Get a doctor here immediately!" He then turned to the boy, "Thank you for saving my daughter."
  • Why did this boy seem more and more familiar?
  • "Don't mention it. I just got blocked from the restroom and couldn't hold it anymore!" Ethan turned and ran towards the restroom.
  • Hudson watched the boy thoughtfully.
  • "Mr. Hudson, the item the boy used was a tear gas grenade," Victor came over and reported.
  • Hudson's brows furrowed, wondering how a child came to possess such a thing.
  • Wynette hurried to the airport, pulling out her phone to call her son. "I'm here, where are you?"
  • She then hung up and headed towards the restroom area.
  • "Mommy, I'm here," Ethan waved to her from not too far away.
  • Wynette saw her son had indeed followed her, her tone exasperated, "How dare you come here by yourself! And you even stole Uncle Steven's passport?"
  • "Mommy, how could I not be involved in finding Daddy? You can't leave me out!" He stated sternly, his expression serious.
  • Wynette sighed helplessly. "Alright, you can come with me." She then picked up his suitcase, "Let's go home."
  • Meanwhile, the doctor had already examined Madison; she was physically unharmed. There was just a bit of fear and some psychological trauma.
  • "Daddy, that boy over there just left," Madison pointed in a direction.
  • Hudson turned his head to look.
