Chapter 5 Waking Up
- “Sir, the card key to your room,” the manager trotted over, handing the card to Shang Tingli deferentially.
- “Thanks,” replied Shang Tingli mildly, before boarding his private lift and heading straight upstairs, leaving the crowd behind him looking on in suspense and marvel.
- It was unbelievable! Has the boss finally gotten enlightened?
- On the top floor, upon opening the door to the presidential suite, Shang Tingli placed Cen Yao down, eagerly kissing her on her lips, as his large hands dived under her clothes uncontrollably.
- On this night, in the presidential suite of the M Hotel, the wild panting of a man had gotten enmeshed with the inviting gasps of a woman, only finally dissipating at dawn.
- The next day, a ringing mobile phone stirred up the silence in the room, disturbing their dreams.
- Knitting her brows, Cen Yao mistily reached her hand out, fishing for her phone on the bedside table. After feeling around on the table for quite a while, all she had recovered was a cold watch. A watch? Her watch was not as big. Also, it was ceramic, but this had undoubtedly felt metallic.
- Perhaps Bu Ziang came back last night?
- Cen Yao pressed her fingers upon her temple, which was throbbing in pain as she sat up in bed. The silk blanket on her slid down, inviting a draft to her chest, making Cen Yao lower her eyes.
- Heavens! She was not only naked, but her body had also gotten spattered with love bites! It had required little imagination to figure out what had transpired the night before.
- “Morning,” a deep, mild voice of a man resounded through her ears.
- The man was holding a cup of coffee, standing by the French windows as he greeted her calmly. From outside the window, gold rays of morning sunlight fell behind him, such that his handsome features were slightly discernible amidst the light and shadows, making him appear even more refined and graceful.
- He was a man of fine taste.
- He dressed minimally, but was classy. Compared to the disorderly state that she was in, he appeared as if he were a corporate elite.
- Gazing at him, dumbstruck, Cen Yao took a while to straighten out her thoughts, to recover from the astonishment that she was in. The X-rated scenes that had ensued the previous night replayed themselves in her mind like a movie, flashing by back and forth repeatedly.
- This… this man, was he not the first-rate ace that Jiang Yingying had talked about last night? Also, she had drunken sex with the man! Then again, were the standards of male prostitutes this high these days?
- If she had not known this in advance, she would have had assumed that he was a highly successful member of the upper crust.
- “I… I was drunk last night,” it took Cen Yao a long time to find her voice again. As she glanced at the man, her eyes met with the seemingly smiling expression in his, which made her cheeks burn in embarrassment. Hence, she veered her face away. After searching for a long time, she finally located her wallet and put on a brave front as she offered, “How much do you charge per night? I’ll pay you.”
- Shang Tingli gently sipped on his coffee before he slowly gazed at her, “Didn’t we agree last night that I’ll serve you for free?”
- “Free of charge?” Cen Yao tried to recall the things that had occurred yesterday. In the end, all she could summon from memory was the man’s uninhibited, fierce kisses.
- Okay then!
- Although she was inexperienced in this area, she was aware that the man before her was a master at kissing!
- Just a second! It was not the right time for this. What was she thinking about?
- Cen Yao had almost wanted to slap her forehead a couple of times.
- “Business is business. Since you do this for a living, I’m not going to shortchange you.” She casually pulled out a stack of bills and glanced at him, “Is this enough?”
- Shang Tingli raised his eyebrows, appearing as though he were smiling.
- “Not enough? My apologies. I’m not particularly familiar with your trade.” Taking her wallet out, Cen Yao removed all the cash that she had inside, placing it on the bedside table. “That’s all I’ve got.” At that, she clipped her wallet shut and tossed it into her bag. At that moment, something dawned upon her, as she quietly pulled a bill from the stack, “I need one for my ride. I don’t think it’ll bother you, right?”
- With one hand in his pocket, the man offered chivalrously, “Mhm. Help yourself.”
