• They made it to the hospital in record time. He had already called ahead and his friend at the hospital was already waiting there, Dr Sadie Walters. She had known him when was in school. She had visited the mansion his mother lived in as a woman who came to meet his mother once and stayed in touch with the lonely young teenager who waited while she examined the famed actress.
• Sadie had a son who was around Tristan’s age but he went to the local school. Her heart had gone out to the lonely young boy and she had made it a point to send him cards on his birthday, continuing to stay in touch. A tall, well-built woman whose grey hair framed her large, smiling face, she was the picture of cheerfulness and caring. Now she watched as Tristan drove up, her round face concerned.
