• I watch an hour pass and begin to worry. Jasper grasps my chin so I look at him.
• “They are fine, Sam messaged. They are in the club, they had Christmas dinner there in a private room, now they are sat in the main room together talking. Your dad is laughing so don’t worry about them.”
