• Upon noticing that Summer had come downstairs, Galen greeted her with much enthusiasm. “Good morning, Mrs. Malcolm!”
• Summer pouted while replying, “Don’t call me that!” After saying that, she gave herself a pat on the back of her head as she realized that this wasn’t the time to fuss over that. Scuttling down the stairs, she was ready to leave while dragging Galen with her. “Stop eating! We have to go now! I’ll treat you to something better once we leave here!”
• With a puzzled expression, Galen asked, “Why the hurry?” He had only taken a few bites out of his meal, so he wasn’t full yet.
