Chapter 7 My Cousin-in-Law Is so Beautiful
- Even before she could think up an explanation, Wyatt’s lips met hers, and he kissed her unabashedly while his hands held her arms, holding her tightly in his embrace.
- His cold breath invaded hers, making her a little dizzy and she felt as though he would steal her soul away with this kiss.
- Releasing her, he gave her a mischievous smile. “Mrs. Malcolm, are you satisfied with this?”
- With her heart pounding against her chest wildly, she tried to free herself from his embrace, but he tightened his grasp on her, trapping her again.
- The distance between them was very close, and very dangerously so…
- Summer continued to struggle while he kept his vice grip on her. In the end, she lost her strength, so she resorted to pouting.
- “Why do you have so much strength?”
- Before the marriage, Wayne had reminded her so many times that Wyatt was weak and she had to take good care of him. Hence, she even thought that he was an ill person like her grandmother.
- But now when she lowered her gaze at the man’s big hands which were holding her small waist firmly, she couldn’t help but wonder why she wasn’t able to outwrestle a ‘weak man’ even though she was considered fit and healthy.
- Her upset look with pouty lips made him think that her face looked like a round peach, and he laughed. Putting her into a more comfortable position, he placed her on his lap and said, “I’m only blind, but everything else about me is very fit.” As he spoke, he smiled devilishly and leaned in close to her ears. In a low and husky voice which sent shivers down her body, he whispered, “I’m fit down there as well. Do you want to give it a try now, Mrs. Malcolm?”
- Summer’s heart beat even harder and her face became scarlet and hot as she shook her head vigorously. “No, no, no! I don’t want that!”
- Feeling naughty, Wyatt nibbled on her earlobe. “You don’t want that? Didn’t you say that… you’ll definitely bear me a child?”
- “I-I… I’ll definitely bear your children, but not… not now!” she cried out shakily. She was so terrified that she couldn’t speak properly. As she couldn’t understand Wyatt’s personality, she was really afraid that he would actually do her in the car… “Regardless… I just can’t do it!”
- Silently, he watched her with a dangerous and overbearing look in his eyes, and she felt terrified just by the look in those eyes.
- The way he looked now was as though he would just gobble her up at any second…
- Like a terrified rabbit, she stared at him with wide, teary eyes. “I can’t do it…”
- Raising his eyebrow calmly, he asked composedly, “Are you sure you don’t want it?”
- “Yeah…” She whimpered. “You can do anything you like with me because you’re my husband, but…” She sniffled and continued, “Not in the car! The driver is here as well… It’s so embarrassing…”
- Deep in her very being, Sumner was still a very traditional woman, and she couldn’t accept such a crazy thing…
- “I can tell Emmanuel to leave the car,” he said with a faint smile.
- “That… That’s not good, either… The news had reported many cases of people getting caught while having sex in the car…” she said tentatively, trying to understand his emotions right now. “We can do it on the bed in the bedroom at home… Or if you don’t like the bed, then… we can do it on the floor as well…”
- Tickled, he asked again, “Weren’t you doubting my abilities in that aspect?”
- “No, I wasn’t!” she cried. Then, she nodded. “I-I took the wrong medicine. Those aren’t meant for you.”
- Not meant for me? Wyatt thought. With a lopsided grin, he questioned her, “Then… who do you plan to give those medicine to, Mrs. Malcolm?”
- It looks like I just dug another hole for myself… Summer thought speechlessly.
- Out of desperation, she made up a story. “My good friend, Harper. Her boyfriend is having problems in bed, so she went to get these from the hospital, and I accidentally took the wrong ones.”
- Since Harper set me up first, then I’ll shift the blame onto her! she thought to herself.
- The way she told a cock and bull story so seriously put a faint smile on his sculptured face, and she could feel that his emotions were getting milder now. Wrapping her arms around his, she shook him gently and said coquettishly, “I swear I took it by mistake. There’s no way I would doubt that there’s a problem with my husband.”
- Her voice was so sweet that it was as though she was oozing honey from her lips.
- Just then, the car stopped and he said casually, “You have thirty minutes to go in and change.”
- Although his voice was low, Summer could tell that there were traces of delight in it!
- Looks like he’s not angry anymore! she thought gleefully as she scrambled out of the car.
- After taking a step, she suddenly recalled something and turned back to look at him, asking, “You’re not getting out of the car?”
- Wyatt smirked. “Are you asking that because you would like to continue where we left off earlier in the bedroom, Mrs. Malcolm?”
- The moment she heard him, she dashed into the villa without a second word.
- As he watched her young, lively figure running away from him, Wyatt laced his fingers behind his head and grinned.
- ---
- Summer went through the closet with Mrs. Lucy for a full ten minutes before they finally came to an agreement and picked out a very ladylike pink and white dress.
- After changing, Mrs. Lucy carefully did her makeup to match the dress.
- Other than the dress she wore at the wedding on the previous day, this was the first time Summer put on such a dress and pretty makeup to match it.
- As she stared at herself in the mirror and saw herself looking pretty like a doll, she spun around in circles happily and Mrs. Lucy smiled at her. “Madam, thirty minutes is almost over.”
- Only then did Summer come back to her senses. Grabbing her purse in a hurry, she put on her three inch heels and left the house in wobbly steps. Unable to contain her excitement, the moment she got into the car, she wanted to show off to Wyatt.
- However, when she saw the black cloth over his eyes, she kept her mouth shut.
- Wyatt is blind… No matter how beautiful I’ve become, he won’t be able to see it, let alone compliment me.
- Disappointed, she pursed her lips and uttered, “We can go now.”
- Wyatt glanced at her calmly and instructed the driver to start the car.
- The car started and he said, “Mrs. Lucy always has good tastes.” There was some tenderness in his husky voice as he added, “You must be stunning now.”
- All of a sudden, Summer was in a chatty mood. “Yes, exactly! Mrs. Lucy really has good fashion taste! Let me tell you!” Then, she began describing to him in excitement how pretty her dress was while holding his hand to touch her body. “There’s a bow here, can you feel it? It’s that pretty kind of bow! Over here, can you feel the cut of the dress at the waist? It makes me look especially slim!”
- On the way, she held his hand to feel her body innocently. Occasionally, his hand would slide over her smooth skin, but she didn’t think much of it and continued to tell him the details excitedly.
- Seeing how happy and excited she was, Wyatt smiled helplessly, thinking, This silly girl.
- Just when Summer’s throat was getting dry from all the talking, the car stopped. Emmanuel set up the foldable wheelchair expertly and opened the car door to let Wyatt on it.
- Staring wide-eyed at the magnificent house in front of her eyes, Summer thought that Wyatt’s villa was already very luxurious, but she never imagined that this place would be even grander…
- “Wyatt, why are you free to visit today? Oh yeah, that’s right. I almost forgot that you were married yesterday. So you’re here with your wife to visit Grandpa?”
- A man’s amused voice could be heard, and Summer frowned as she turned to the source of the voice.
- At the entrance of the main residence, a man dressed in all black with his arms across his chest was smirking at them.
- When she saw him, he happened to lift his eyes, meeting her stare. Unexpectedly, he cast her a flirtatious look and said, “You must be the one who became my cousin-in-law yesterday.”
- Feeling a sense of disgust in her heart, Summer recognized this man as Winston Malcolm, who was the son of Wyatt’s second uncle, Christian Malcolm. She remembered seeing this person in the family photo.
- Even though he looks decent, he’s actually such a flirt!
- When he saw them walking toward him, the lecherous look in his eyes when he looked at Summer became more apparent. “I wasn’t expecting my cousin-in-law to be so beautiful.”
