Chapter 48
- Evy
- I wake up in a small room, completely different, with simple furniture and only a rectangular window made of wood and glass, allowing me to see the daylight. I must have fallen asleep at some point during the journey here, and Dylan probably put me to bed. I think as I sit in the middle of the mattress and stretch afterward. As soon as I put my feet out of bed, I am hit by the morning sickness, and as always, I rush to find a bathroom. A warm shower helps me relax a bit, and then I search for my suitcase. I furrow my brows in confusion when I can't find it anywhere and head straight to a three-door wardrobe. To my surprise, everything is right there in front of me, neatly arranged.
- "Dylan," I think, opening a satisfied smile. I put on a loose dress and sandals, and after tying my hair in a loose bun, I leave the room hungry. A wonderful smell of food surrounds me as I enter the small living room, and my stomach immediately grumbles. I follow the scent to find a small and charming kitchen, and Dylan is behind a counter wearing a white apron and stirring something on the stove. Damn, what is he still doing here?
