Chapter 31
- Freya did not leave Arthur's room until midnight. She was beside him, wiping the perspiration from his face and staring at him nonstop. His face was pale, and his pulse and breathing were faint—but she wasn't scared, she believed that the Moon goddess wouldn't let him die just like that.
- She then remembered that she and Elora had struck a deal regarding the incense pot, and that the only other way to save Arthur would be to find out exactly what he inhaled so that a certain cure could be applied.
- After scrubbing his body clean, she made the decision to slip into Elora's room that evening. The easiest time to wake her up and force her to hand it over is when she is sleepy.
