Chapter 16

• Freya was flanked by two guards as she stood in front of Luna and her Alpha, Arthur's father. Luna has asked this question three times now, and she still has not found the answer. This is not surprising given how fixated her thoughts are on the assassin—she can not let him die while there is still so much she does not know.
• "This is the fourth and final time I will ask this question. So, where did you go last night?" Luna probed her.
• She coughed and cleared her throat. "When Arthur gets back safely, I will respond to your question. He left after the assassin who visited him last night; I am still worried about his fate." She bowed to them. "I hope you can understand what I mean."
