Chapter 62 The Ritual

• Luna and Nathan arrived at the sacrificial circle where the witch awaited them. Jane still didn't know that Luna had broken the spell she had cast on Nathan. Despite hating the situation, Nathan continued to hope everything would resolve. In his current state, he hated Jane much more than Luna. He would leave the girl for last, for now. He would try to get rid of the experienced woman who had dominated him, hoping he would do everything according to her wishes.
• With just a few steps, near the large stones surrounding the altar, Luna felt the magic and power emanating from the place. Once inside the circle, she would be trapped, and perhaps her powers wouldn't work. She was still a girl with much to learn about herself and her abilities. But fate seemed to be accelerating this process. She didn’t know the extent of her power but would try to use all her strength to bring down Jane.
• They pretended nothing was happening. Nathan stopped two steps away from the stone circle. Luna, however, crossed over, stepping to the other side. She felt an energy emanate and closed her eyes as if hit by a strong night breeze. The full moon was at its peak, and the powers were even stronger. So were the witch's, but unlike Jane, Luna was a sorceress who didn’t play by the rules of witchcraft. The chaos within her was unbound, and it would be interesting to test it at that moment.
