Chapter 14 "Night Of Revelations"

• Luna knew it wasn’t a good idea to wait until everyone was asleep, the lights were out, and then get up, put on warm clothes, grab her phone, and sneak out the window. Obviously, it was a terrible idea. It was already late at night, and the wind hinted that things would only get worse. As soon as she stepped outside, she carefully climbed down and entered the thick bushes and tree trunks.
• She knew there was no turning back and that something very strange and bad could happen to her. But her courage and curiosity outweighed the reason to stay safe inside the house, so she continued. She turned on her phone’s flashlight and started walking. Where was she going? She didn’t know the area, didn’t know the paths, and could get lost. But her instincts began to guide her. Despite not knowing the way, she seemed to recognize every step, every tree.
• That instinct guided her through the darkness, past the rustling animals in the branches above and bushes below, filling her with fear and anxiety. Step by step, Luna looked up at the sky and saw the enormous moon shining through the trees. It seemed to speak to her, urging her to keep going. And so she did.
