Chapter 24 A Riot at the Deans' Mansion (Part 1)
- Lewis had not stayed home for three consecutive nights but had lived at Tess' place instead. He only showed up beside Winona every morning to go to work together. Winona felt helpless about the situation because she and Lewis initially agreed that their marriage would be fake and that they would not interfere in each other's personal lives. However, she couldn't understand why she felt so troubled and particularly angry.
- In the car's back seat, Winona looked at Lewis, who was driving, and said expressionlessly, "I'm going to a banquet tonight, and you have to come with me."
- Lewis was taken aback. Winona hadn't spoken to him for several days, and now she was speaking up. What was going on? Nevertheless, Lewis still replied, "Got it."
