Chapter 1 The Flight Attendant

  • "Hello, sir! Can I get you anything?"
  • It was a girl at about 5′7″, dressed in a flight attendant's uniform. She had delicate, doll-like features, long eyelashes, and bright, expressive eyes. Her petite nose and small lips added to her charm. She bent slightly at the waist, addressed a man lounging in his seat, and smiled warmly at him.
  • The man slowly turned to see where the sweet voice was coming from. Her sugary smile and gentle, inviting tone, along with a delicate feminine scent that subtly filled the air, made her even more captivating.
  • "I'll have a glass of wine," the man replied with a smile.
  • Tess Bishop, the flight attendant, gazed at him. He had short hair, sharp features, and a chiselled jawline. His deep eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint. His muscular arms hinted at his strength, and his long legs stretched comfortably into the seat, showcasing his impressive height. His eyes, especially, drew her in; they shimmered like stars, making it difficult to look away.
  • Lewis Snow was 25 years old. He stood at 6'3" and weighed 85 kg. He was a retired elite soldier from Agron. Lewis was deep in contemplation when the flight attendant interrupted him.
  • "Oh, sure! Just a moment," Tess stammered. She was a bit nervous and fumbled for words when she saw the strikingly handsome man before her.
  • As she walked away, Lewis mused, "I rarely take a first-class flight, and I run into such a stunning flight attendant. Should I ask for her number later?"
  • Shortly, Tess returned with a tray. Her graceful curves and refined features were a harmonious sight. Her every move exuded an enticing elegance.
  • A delicate hand placed a glass of red wine before Lewis. "Here's your wine, sir. Enjoy," she said with a smile.
  • Lewis stood up slowly. He reached for Tess's head and produced a fresh red rose.
  • "Hi! I'm Lewis Snow. This is for you," he said, handing her the flower.
  • Tess blushed at his gesture. Her voice was barely above a whisper, "Thank you."
  • "Could I have your contact information?" Lewis asked.
  • Tess struggled internally. Her heart was fluttering as she looked at the man. She bit her lip, then pulled a card from her pocket and handed it to him before hurrying away.
  • Lewis watched her leave with a smile. He glanced at the card. It read 'Tess Bishop' and included a phone number. He had succeeded in getting her contact information, though she seemed quite shy.
  • Back in her cabin, Tess held the rose, her heart racing. She mused, I've heard colleagues talk about airplane romances, but I never imagined meeting someone so handsome. My heart's pounding like crazy—is this what they call fate?
  • In the first-class cabin, Lewis quietly reclined in his seat and was deep in thought. This flight from Zodrad to Kloria will take about 15 hours. What should I do with all this time?
  • He crossed his legs, closed his eyes, and started practicing a form of meditative breathing. An almost imperceptible flow of energy seemed to surround him. Inside his body, a stream of energy coursed through his meridians, similar to the legendary vigor energy. As the flow accelerated, he felt a profound transformation. His senses sharpened, and his mind became clearer than ever.
  • Lewis had discovered an ancient manuscript called the Astral Codex in his childhood. He had been practicing it for over a decade. His physical abilities were exceptional, especially in terms of sex. He seemed particularly attractive to the opposite sex.
  • When he awoke, Tess brought a beautifully prepared dinner. Judging by the time, it was now evening.
  • After enjoying the in-flight meal, Lewis pressed the service button.
  • Tess approached with a smile and asked, "How can I assist you, sir?"
  • Leaning closer, Lewis whispered in her ear, "Take me to the restroom." He finished by softly exhaling near her ear.
  • Tess blushed furiously. Talking is fine, but what about the breath? So embarrassing.
  • As most passengers were resting, Tess led Lewis towards the restroom.
  • She opened the door and was about to speak, but Lewis gently pushed her inside and locked the door.
  • Surprised by the sudden move, Tess instinctively wanted to scream. But Lewis's lips were already on hers.
  • Oh my! This is what kissing feels like. It's exciting and thrilling. But does he think I'm easy? We just met, and I don't even know his name. How could I do this? Tears rolled down Tess's cheeks as she thought of them.
  • Lewis was ready to advance when he felt the wetness on her face. He realised she was crying. "I'm too hasty," he thought. Every time he practiced the Codex, he felt an intense heat, making it hard to control himself. He wondered what exactly this technique was.
  • Suddenly, the plane jolted violently. The announcement came, "We are experiencing turbulence. Please remain seated with your seatbelts fastened."
  • Helplessly, Lewis released Tess. He wanted to explain, but Tess beat him to it.
  • She said tearfully, "I'm not that kind of girl. I do like you, but aren't you supposed to date me first?"
  • "I'm sorry. I'll make it up to you after we land. I just like you too much, and it might be love at first sight," Lewis said, trying to smooth things over.
  • "I need to get back. My colleagues will worry if they can't find me," Tess said.
  • Hearing Lewis's explanation, Tess felt a little sweet inside but also a bit apprehensive. However, now wasn't the time to dwell on such matters; she needed to get back to her duties.
  • "Mwah!"
  • Tess suddenly stood on tiptoe and gave Lewis a quick peck on the lips before dashing away, embarrassed.
  • Lewis touched his lips and smiled. He thought as he returned to his seat, I knew my charm is irresistible. Too bad we didn't get to complete the act. I'll definitely try again if I get the chance. The experience just now was indeed very enjoyable.
  • Back at her station, Tess was clearly distracted. Her hand slowly brushed over her lips, as if savouring the taste of the kiss. It felt so good, so happy—something she had never experienced before. Is this what love felt like?
  • When she thought about how he almost took her right there, she wondered if it was too fast. Without her consent, he just did that. Could he be a bad person? Tess was caught in a whirlwind of thoughts.
  • After a moment, the plane finally stabilised. However, Lewis did not see Tess again; another flight attendant had taken her place.
  • This left Lewis a bit disappointed, but since she was still on the plane, he figured he'd see what happened later.
  • After a long flight, the plane landed smoothly at Sluvale International Airport.
