• Retno pondered her life's fate, her thoughts drifting back to when she was a child. Back then, she was still in kindergarten when her family went back to her grandmother's house. It was the first time she met her mother's extended family on Eid al-Fitr. Usually, they would gather with her father's extended family because of the closer distance.
