Chapter 2

• Retno sat on the back porch of her parents' house. It turned out that her mother asked her to come home because one of her father's business associate's son had visited the house. Of course, their hope was for Retno to take a liking to him and consider him as a potential partner. Unfortunately, Retno was not interested in the man at all. She was sure that he would not be able to keep up with her games and desires in the bedroom. It was better to just skip it rather than invest time and energy into something that may not meet her expectations.
• "Tan, how was it with Uncle Yun earlier?" Mika asked as she sat down next to Retno.
• "Not interesting at all."
• Mika burst into laughter. Retno just looked at her without commenting.
• "If Auntie is not interested, then I definitely won't be."
• "Auntie is more interested in finding a driver than finding a partner. It's tiring to drive everywhere by myself, especially after clubbing."
• Suddenly, Mika remembered Rio who was in need of a job.
• "Tan, are you seriously looking for a driver?"
• "Yes."
• "My friend is looking for a job. What if I offer it to him?"
• "Is your friend willing to have his partying activities disrupted by work?"
• "He is, Tan. He asked me to find him a job. He said he's willing to do any job as long as it's halal and the pay is enough to cover his rent and daily meals."
• "The most important criteria are having a driver's license, being responsible, trustworthy, and driving smoothly," Retno said to Mika.
• "Well, I'll have to ask him about that first, Tan."
• Retno just smiled. It wouldn't hurt to give the job to Mika's friend if he could meet all of Retno's criteria.
• "It's better if the two of us meet him and test him together."
• Mika smiled and nodded.
• "When is Auntie available?"
• "Wednesday afternoon. I'm free at two in the afternoon."
• "Okay, okay, Tan. I'll inform my friend, alright?"
• Retno just nodded and now she stood up, leaving Mika alone who was starting to get busy with her phone. Without much delay, Mika contacted Rio to inform him about this job opportunity. Hopefully, Auntie would approve of Rio, making it easier for Mika to approach Rio.
