Chapter 14 Distractions

• Returning to the city, I drop Andrew off at home, despite his attempts to persuade me to go to the club with him. I declined immediately because my mind is still wrapped up in the madness Kate unleashed. I am completely lost with this woman. She messes with my mind like no one ever has. I leave my phone on the kitchen counter and search for something strong to drink. I opt for whiskey.
• I walk to the huge window in the living room and gaze at the city. My house is located on a high spot, making it easier to have the perfect view. I sip my whiskey, and my mind goes back to the scene that unfolded earlier today. I almost lost control with her. I wanted so badly to grab that body and have it for myself. But I can't. I need to control myself and find a way to relieve this stress because my interaction with her is becoming more frequent.
